Towards the end of each Sunday Service, we have a time called the invitation. This is an opportunity for anyone to come to the front of the sanctuary and respond to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to them about. Some may pray for a special need or burden they're facing while others may come to accept Christ as Savior and/or join the church.

    If you desire to follow Jesus Christ and to be loyal to and supportive of the doctrines, fellowship, and purposes of First Baptist Church, we invite you to become a member through one of the following.

By Profession of Faith
If you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and will follow Him in baptism by immersion, we will welcome you into our fellowship.

By Transfer of Membership
As a Baptist whose membership is elsewhere, should God direct you here, we will be pleased to welcome you into our church family. We will take care of the appropriate details for the transferring of your membership. You need only present yourself for membership.

By Statement of Faith
If you know in your heart that you have a saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ and desire to be a member of First Baptist Church, we will be happy to receive you. If you were once a member of a Baptist church and your records are not available, we will accept you upon your statement of these conditions. If your church membership is currently in another denomination and you have not been baptized by immersion as a testimony of your salvation, we would expect you to be baptized in obedience to Christ before being added to our church family.
